For the past decade I've partnered with B2B, chambers of commerce, associations, nonprofits, and event teams to create engaging, cohesive event experiences through thoughtful design.

My event design experience began at Triangle Business Journal in 2016 creating event branding and full experiences for their 25 signature events. It then expanded during my six years at the NC Chamber, where I supported conferences, annual meetings, leadership programs, policy events, executive gatherings, and their event services arm that extended the talent of our team to our member organizations. In 2023 I left the Chamber to start Taryn Layne Design where I've continued designing for organizations that host events including Meeting Tomorrow, Arkansas Chamber of Commerce, Global NC, The Power Table Live, and Specialized Dental Partners.

Over the course of my 13-year career, I've contributed to 60+ corporate and professional events, helping organizations bring their events to life through strategic visual design.

Hi, I’m Taryn

For more than 10 years, I've designed conferences, corporate events, leadership summits, annual meetings, and business programs through a combination of in-house, agency, and independent roles.

This experience has given me a unique perspective on event design. I understand the strategic goals behind an event, the realities of managing stakeholders and timelines, and the importance of creating a cohesive attendee experience across every touchpoint. Whether developing a complete event brand or applying an established theme across stage graphics, signage, presentations, programs, and digital assets, I enjoy translating ideas into experiences that feel polished, engaging, and memorable.

I hold a BFA in Graphic Design and an MBA in Marketing. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I partner with organizations across the U.S. to create event experiences that support business goals and leave a lasting impression.
